A Historic Union for Our Community
In 2025, two beloved institutions came together to create something extraordinary. The merger of Australia’s largest Bridge Club with one of Sydney’s most magnificent bowling facilities wasn’t just about combining resources—it was about keeping this treasured venue in the Lindfield community for generations to come.
Together, we are 1,700 members strong, united by a shared vision: to preserve this beautiful East Lindfield property as a thriving social hub for our local community and Sydney’s North Shore.
North Shore Bridge Club, established in 1962, had been a long-term tenant at the Lindfield Bowling Club’s stunning East Lindfield facility. After 10 years of searching for a permanent home, the answer was right where we were all along.
By joining forces, we’ve secured this magnificent property for our community, transforming from a landlord-tenant relationship into shared ownership of a forever home. No more worries about relocation, no debt, and no risk of losing this beautiful green space to development.
This isn’t just a merger—it’s a commitment to keeping this facility in Lindfield, preserving green space on Sydney’s North Shore, and creating a vibrant social hub where our community can gather, play, and thrive.
